It seems both Cheryl Cole and Rihanna may get their wish. The two will come together for their much anticipated duet for Cole's forthcoming album, due out in March.
Both Cole and Rihanna mentioned in the past about working together and the two hit it off after the 28-year-old went to see Rihanna’s sell-out Loud tour at the O2 in London.
“It’s a big year for Cheryl. She can’t wait for her
little soldiers to hear the music she’s been passionately working on
over the past 12 months," a source told the UK Mirror.
The source continues: "She has struck up a friendship with Rihanna, who recently duetted with Brit star Calvin Harris. Rihanna thinks the world of Cheryl and will work on a party remix with her when they meet up on her next visit. The album fuses pop, hip hop, soul and dance. It already has some party
anthems on it but Rihanna’s would get everyone up on their feet."
Outside of Rihanna, Cole's upcoming set also includes contributions from Will.i.am, producer/songwriters Taley Riley,
Taio Cruz, Alex Da Kid and Patrizio Pigliapoco.
In related news, Cole is still scheduled for a Girls Aloud 10-year anniversary reunion.
