Kylie Minogue will be in attendance at this year's Sydney Mardi Gras Parade where she will join Sydney's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex community to celebrate her 25th anniversary as a pop star.
The pop star last appeared at the Australian parade 14 years ago. In a statement released through Destination DSW, Kylie, in part, had this to say:
"I am coming home for Mardi Gras this year!" said Minogue. "I simply cannot wait, and it's going to be a beautiful way to celebrate 25 years of this relationship."
She adds: "Your support over the years has just been phenomenal and I can't wait to come home and share that with you. So see you in March."
The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras group will honor Minogue during the parade with her own K25 float to show their support and pay homage.
The Sydney Mardi Gras 2012 will run from February 12 to March 4 (2012).
