Jennifer Lopez is in New York City to promote her latest project ‘¡Q’Viva! The Chosen’.
The 42-year-old entertainer worked on the project, a new talent show discovering talent in Latin America, with ex Marc Anthony.
“It’s going to be a great crossover. We’ve had Spanish people watch it, we’ve had English people watch … and it translates. We’re speaking in English, we’re speaking in Spanish, we’re speaking in Portuguese,” Jennifer said last month while promoting the show.
“I think because of all the reality-type shows that are out there right now, like Amazing Race that go to different countries, [having subtitles is] not a big leap for anybody. Plus the music and the dancers are really the star of the show,” she added.
‘¡Q’Viva! The Chosen’ reality competition show for Univision, was watched by 2.2 million viewers Saturday night, according to Nielsen estimates.
That represents a 37% increase over what the network has averaged the previous three Saturday nights.
The show is off to a great start for the year.
