After releasing her self titled debut project in 2006, it appeared
Cassie walked away from pursuing music to becoming a model. Fast forward
to the present, the loyal Bad Boy singer returns with her sophomore
album in lieu of criticism on her vocal ability. On her lead single
"King of Heart," she ditches R&B production for an electronic
backdrop made for club dancers.
Cassie describes her new sound
creations as "A cool blend of pop, hip-hop, and ska." She added "It's
urban Gwen Stefani meets Aaliyah. I hate referencing people but if you
had to compare, that's it."
She has confirmed her second studio album will finally drop in May.
