Santigold has revealed the cover art for her upcoming sophomore album, 'Master of My Make-Believe.' The cover was shot by photographer Jason Schmidt and the artwork is based on 18th century British artist Joshua Reynolds’ painting of Banastre Tarleton called "Portrait of an Officer."
The Brooklyn singer/songwriter recently stated that she titled the album Master of My Make-Believe "because I want it to be
about creating your own reality."
The 35-year-old also revealed several of the set’s collaborators
including Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick
Zinner and Switch of Major Lazer.
“Getting my album out once and for all! So much red tape! Shit, I make
music to be heard!” the Roc Nation artist previously stated.
"Master of My Make-Believe" is scheduled for a May 1st release date.
