Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik are set to be the new faces of Nickelodeon. Following their touring buddy, Big Time Rush, they've landed a prime TV slot, but not everyone is happy about it.
"#1DPleaseDontGoToNick" is trending worldwide on Twitter and fans have even asked that Simon Cowell, who found the young artists, interject and set them straight.
Despite this, Nickelodeon released a statement via twitter saying, "The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!" Nickelodeon announced on its Twitter account.
Hopefully their fans stick with them and support their decision.
