Lady Antebellum Uplifts Indiana High Schoolers Following Fatal Tornado

The devastating tornadoes that recently ripped through Indiana brought calamity and destruction to the natives of that great state. But all hope is not lost and those indomitable people continue to stay strong, rebuild, and take heart. To add to the healing process, Lady Antebellum plans to hold a private concert for high school students at Henryville.

The group carefully mulled through tons of requests and chose the school due to the heavy destruction they suffered by the tornadoes. The requests were submitted to the groups' "Own the Prom Night" contest.

The Henryville students received heart warming support from all across the state and country. They even received support from their sports rivals Silver Creek High School in nearby Sellersburg, Ind.

"Not only was their own submission moving...but schools across the country spontaneously submitted videos campaigning on behalf of Henryville High School in support of Henryville receiving the special concert, including the winning submission from Silver Creek High School," the band says on their website.

The Henryville students' prom is scheduled for April 27, however, Lady A, due to a scheduling conflict, must reschedule. The band promises to make it worth their while by throwing a larger event on May 16th in nearby Louisville, KY and hold a special benefit for the community.

"Trust me, we have something even bigger in store," Charles Kelley said in while announcing the winner. I'm certain it will be a time to remember.
