This is a wonderfully soft and elegant song, full of trailing notes over a quiet and tranquil guitar strummed ever so lightly. Christina Perri, herself, said she kept the record a secret, as she was so excited to be working with Jason Mraz, who can be heard harmonizing with the female vocalist over the pre-chorus and chorus.
It is a fantastic arrangement and well composed. The lyrics expose the natural sensitivity of every relationship, which I'm certain that those who have actually been in love have felt and understood.
Christina Perri, 25, is originally Philadelphia. Her single "Jar of Hearts" charted in the United States after it was featured on Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance'. She is certainly up-and-coming as her songs, "A Thousand Years", was featured in the Twilight saga movie 'Breaking Dawn'.
