Justin Bieber landed a career best after debuting at No. 2 on on the Billboard charts with his
brand new single "Boyfriend." His highest charting debut was previously held by his famous single "Baby," which enter the chart at No. 5. His other top-10 single is
2011's "Never Say Never" that peaked at the fifth place.
So how did he do it? Besides heavy adds at radio, the 18-year-old sold 521,000 downloads of "Boyfriend," which was produced and co-written by Mike Posner. The sales feat gives Bieber the second highest debut sales week of all time for a single next to Flo Rida's "Right Round."
