Looking to continue with their success, they present us with their latest video for their single, "Silenced By The NIght." The video begins with two people on the side of the road with an apparent car problem, as the hood is up and the male half of the duo is under it. The man fixes whatever the issue is as the other half rejoices. Enter the band. Chaplin is seen walking along what seems to be a beach and delivering a hypnotic and passionate message as the instrumental behind him loops with its penetrating keys. The remainder of the video depicts the two we encountered earlier, exhibiting innocent, young love. It is captured quite brilliantly in this video, might I add.

The record is the first single from their forthcoming album Strangeland, due for release on May 7. The song, which is available to download on April 30th, was originally slated for U.S. release only, but has instead entered the international arena.

Keane is an English alternative rock band from Battle, East Sussex, formed in 1997, when they were called Cherry Keane. The group currently consists of Tim Rice-Oxley (piano, backing vocals), Tom Chaplin (lead vocals, guitar), Richard Hughes (drums, percussion) and Jesse Quin (bass guitar, percussion). They attained mainstream success with their release of their debut album, Hopes and Fears, in 2004. The album won multiple awards and was the second best-selling British album of the year.

Speaking on their last album and their forthcoming album, frontman, Chaplin exclaimed that 'Perfect Symmetry' was, "Sprawling," and, "self-indulgent", saying this one will have several "single contenders".
