With a little over a month left until the release of his sophomore effort, Adam Lambert has chosen “Never Close Our Eyes” as his second single. It will also serve as the follow-up to his single "Better Than I Know Myself.”
The uptempo dance jam was penned by Bruno Mars and produced by the Smeezingtons, with the pop rock singer crooning ““I wish that this night would never be over/There’s plenty of time to sleep when we die/Let’s just stay awake until we grow older/If I had my way we’d never close our eyes” on the hook.
The track is lifted off of Lambert’s upcoming ‘Trespassing’ album, expected out on May 15th, on which he’ll serve as the executive producer and main writer.
