Green Day can't seem to get enough of success. After countless hits and accomplishments they have only set their sights higher and are currently in the studio recording not one, nor two, but three albums! Named, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!, respectively, the whole thing has fans and the media alike, going bananas.
"We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming," said the band in a statement released by their publicist. "Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. We just can't help ourselves...We are going epic as f--k!"
For fans who can't wait to hear the album, they'll likely get a brief encounter when the trio hits the stage this summer at the Summer Sonic 2012 festival in Tokyo on Aug. 18 and Osaka on Aug. 19, the Rock en Seine festival in Paris on Aug. 26th and other European engagements. We are looking forward to it and can't wait to review it!
