Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made it his duty to pay homage to Adam 'MCA' Yauch, who passed away yesterday (May 4) at 47 after a battle with cancer. During a sold-out show Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl, the band paid tribue to MCA by covering Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!),” the group’s 1987 hit off their debut album Licensed to Ill.
“I said mom, you’re just jealous, it’s the Beastie Boys/ So we’re sending all our love to the Beastie Boys,” sang Martin.
