After months of speculation and rumors, the wait is finally over. The two new judges for the second season of X Factor USA have officially been announced – Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
Pop icon Britney Spears and Disney star Demi Lovato joined returning judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid at Fox’s Upfronts for the official announcement.
“I’m ready to find the true star,” Spears proclaimed, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“It’s an honor to be standing next to you,” Lovato said to Cowell. “It’s an honor to represent my generation.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action,” Spears told Us Weekly. “Simon and L.A. better watch out!”
Spears and Lovato will be replacing last season’s judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
