With three weeks left until the 2012 CMT Music Awards, performers have just been revealed for the star-studded event. Having a stellar year thus far, Carrie Underwood has been tapped on as a musical guest, along with Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, and Little Big Town.
Currently, Underwood leads the nominees with five nods, including two in the Video of the Year category. Her other nominations include Female Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, and CMT Performance of the Year.
Following behind her is Miranda Lambert with four nominations, and Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, and Blake Shelton with three nods each.
The awards show ceremony will be airing live from Nashville, TN on Wednesday, June 6th at 8/7c. Fans can also head on over to CMT’s official site to cast in their votes on who they think should win.
