Miranda Lambert loves being with someone who can completely sympathize with what it's like to be an artist. Discussing her relationship with Blake Shelton, Lambert says "we support each other."
"We support each other whole-heartedly, but we like to have fun with it too! Music is our mutual passion, and we love sharing it with each other. It’s great being in the same industry as your husband, as it helps us understand the demands on each other’s time," says Lambert. "We can really encourage each other because we’ve each had our own unique career experiences."
While she loves Shelton, Miranda Lambert has a special place in her heart for close friends Ash and Ang. Following their work together on her last effort, Lambert hopes they can put something together for release next year.
"I love sharing the spotlight with my good friends. They are so beautiful and talented, and we focus on having fun and making music that really speaks to our country roots," Lambert tells Go Lackawanna. "It’s hard to describe, so we just call it “music for housewives.” We’re working on a second record hopefully to be released in 2013."
