Is Britney Spears overly shady and mean on "The X Factor USA" ? According to Simon Cowell, she's "mean" and he's had enough.
"Britney is quite mean (but) everyone thinks she's a sweetheart," Cowell told TCA press from the judges house in Miami Monday.
According to Britney, that is "not true."
"That's not true. I like rap, I like hip-hop, I like cabaret music... I like anything live," says Spears.
While she may not be mean, Spears is honest in previews seen for "The X Factor." Adding to that, she says her honesty is to help people.
"I think this show will be good for me to do because I'll be able to help people with their dream," says Spears. "I started so young myself that I think I'll be able to bring something others maybe can't. I'm looking forward to it."
In related news, "The X Factor" judges are currently taping the house portion of the show, which is a rapid fire re-audition process that will allow them to narrow their top picks down to just a few. Those few that make it through will go on to perform for America in the live shows.
