"American Idol" has led to a new relationship. This season's runner up Jessica Sanchez and finalist DeAndre Brackensick are officially an item.
The new couple confirmed the news backstage during the "Idols Live 2012" tour this week, stating they began to see each other after the show.
In related news, Jessica Sanchez was a little shocked to see Jennifer Lopez leave the show but is looking forward to Mariah Carey.
"A little shocked. It won't be the same, but we'll see how it goes," says Sanchez. "I love Mariah Carey."
Brackensick, who is on the hunt for a record deal, believes the new change will be good for the show.
"I think it's good to have change," says Brackensick. "They had their time."
Jessica and DeAndre will be on the road touring throughout the Summer into early Fall.
