Could Nick Jonas and super-producer/artist Pharrell Williams end up being judges on "American Idol" ?
According to recent reports, both are in talks to become possible right and left hand men to confirmed judge Mariah Carey.
Both men are certainly qualified for the job, with Jonas being 1/3 of the successful group The Jonas Brothers. Williams, while known as an artist in his own right, has a serious track record when it comes to producing music for acts like Gwen Stefani, Beyonce and Frank Ocean.
If both deals go through, Jonas and Williams could bring a more youthful demo to the show.
At this point it remains unclear if Randy Jackson will return. There are reports that he will slide into more of a mentoring role next season.
"American Idol" returns early 2013 on FOX.
