Jenny from the Block is one busy lady. You would think being a mother of 4-year old twins and having a career as an international superstar would tire you out. But J. Lo is not stopping anytime soon. Matter of fact, she feels the same as she did at the beginning of her career. In speaking with B96 Chicago during down time from her international tour with Enrique Iglesias, Jen says she’s still “a simple girl from the Bronx” despite her huge success.
Being on tour is fun for the star; sharing the stage with her boyfriend Casper is “fun….We always have a good time,” she says. But the strenuous schedule has her and her twins a little tuckered out. As the tour heads to Los Angeles, the family plans to enjoy being at their LA home for a week or so before taking off again on the whirlwind schedule. “I think we’re all a little bit homesick,” she admits.
With a mega-tour going on, Lopez found time to celebrate her 43rd birthday in New York with close friends, and to her, age ain’t nothing but a number. “It’s always hard for me to get my head around that number. I just feel like I did when I first started…It’s an exciting time in…my life, and I’m glad to be somebody who’s doing that, who’s being able to live her dreams way beyond what anyone would ever think.”
