American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is heading for VH1 with a just announced concert special.
The "Blown Away" singer confirmed the news while appearing on the network's "Big Morning Buzz Live," saying it will be taped later this week.
Titled "VH1 Presents: Carrie Underwood Unplugged," the show will premiere October 2 and feature some of her biggest hits in addition to select tracks from her 2012 effort "Blown Away."
In addition to "Unplugged," Underwood will be covered on the next season of "Behind The Music" later this year.
Since winning the American Idol title in 2005, Carrie Underwood has sold more albums than any "Idol" winner to date. Her last album, "Blown Away," was released in May.
