With all of the names being thrown around for "American Idol," Nick Jonas wants you to know he's still very much in talks.
According to Jonas, the possibility of sitting next to Mariah Carey as a judge may just happen.
"It's something I would like to do if it was right, but it's got to be right on both ends," Jonas told Huffington Post. "It's an ongoing discussion, but as soon as we know if it's right … we'll see. But regardless of whether or not it happens, my most exciting thing at this moment is being back with these guys."
If Jonas does land an "Idol" seat, he will likely be the youngest judge and that doesn't seem to bother him at all.
"As much as we are going to get along, there still is a bit of tough love there, which is important," says Jonas.
Nick Jonas, Lenny Kravitz, Adam Lambert, and Enrique Iglesias are said to be among names producers are considering for the hit singing competition.
"American Idol" is due to return Spring 2013 on Fox.
