Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj may be official "American Idol" judges.
According to a report Monday, both have been in talks for weeks but it appears they will be signing on the dotted line very soon.
Urban is said to be signing on with a $3 to $4 million contract, while Minaj will make quite a lot more. The "Starships" star is said to be receiving $8 million plus a wardrobe allowance for the show !
"Minaj’s involvement was a sticking point, since she has a lucrative endorsement deal with Pepsi, and Coke is a sponsor of “American Idol,," reports ABC. "But it appears those issues have been resolved, and that Minaj would earn $8 million for her participation on the show, in addition to an extra allowance for wardrobe, hair and makeup."
Both deals remained unconfirmed by producers, but sources say it's nearly a locked in deal.
American Idol is due to return early 2013 on FOX.
