In addition to calling her next album a "rebirth," Christina Aguilera says it will be super-expressive following a few tough events including a divorce.
"I've been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on ['The Voice'], having had a divorce. This is all sort of a free rebirth for me," Aguilera shared with Billboard this week.
Tapping names like Max Martin and fellow "The Voice" coach Cee Lo Green, Aguilera also claims the album will showcase a more "vulnerable" side.
"I'm embracing many different things, but it's all feel-good," she continued. "In the fashion that I always like to put forth, it's very self-expressive and it's all heartfelt."
It is unclear what Aguilera may title this album or when it will hit stores, but she will be performing the first piece of music very soon. She will also take the stage on "The Voice" in just over a week.
