As pictured, Lady Gaga has shaved the hair on the back of her head. While you might think it looks crazy, it is actually to mourn the mother of her friend and photographer Terry Richardson.
Richardson broke news that his mother, Annie Lomax, passed earlier this week.
Tweeting her support for Richardson, Lady Gaga said this haircut is to mourn Annie Lomax and support her dear friend.
"I did it for u Terry. I'm sorry about ure mommy," wrote Gaga "She has princess die, but we're all princess high."
In related news, Lady Gaga is looking forward to seeing Britney Spears on "The X Factor" tonight.
Tweeting her support, Gaga wished Brit "good luck."
"X Factor" premieres Wednesday, September 12 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
