Pink Claims First No.1 Album, Carly Rae Jepsen Falls Short ?

There is major good news on the Billboard 200 albums chart for Pink today. Following the release of the popular single "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" Pink's album has debuted at no.1!

The feat is huge for Pink as her new album "The Truth About Love" is the first in her career to reach the summit.

Debuting with 280,000 copies sold, the album outpaced new albums from Kanye West (no.2, 205k) and Carly Rae Jepsen.

"The Truth About Love" becomes P!nk's sixth top 10 set, following "M!ssundaztood" (No. 6), "Try This" (No. 9), "I'm Not Dead" (No. 6), "Funhouse" (No. 2) and "Greatest Hits . . . So Far!!!" (No. 5). Her 2000 debut album "Can't Take Me Home" topped out at No. 26," reports Billboard.

Fresh off the single "Call Me Maybe," Carly Rae Jepsen's debut album "Kiss" debuted at no. 7 with 46,000 copies sold. Her single "Call Me Maybe" sold 5.7 million copies this year.
