Taylor Swift doesn't talk about her love life, she sings about it in her music and she's not afraid to admit that.
Speaking out Monday via both "Good Morning America" and Glamour, the "Begin Again" singer kind of opened up about her life and as of late, a rumored relationship with Conor Kennedy.
"I don’t talk about my personal life," Swift told Cynthia McFadden on 'GMA' when asked about Conor Kennedy, son of Robert Kennedy Jr.
While she won't talk about Conor per say, her checkbook has spoken volumes as Swift recently purchased a $4.9 million home close to the Kennedy family compound in Massachusetts.
Taylor also appears to be close to Ethel Kennedy, telling McFadden "she's fantastic." Kennedy is also said to adore Swift and would love for her to become part of the family.
Asked about Conor in Glamour as well, Swift answered in a similar fashion.
"I don't talk about my personal life in great detail," she told the mag. "I write about it in my songs."
Even though she writes about her love life in song, Swift did not want to hear John Mayer's response to the "Dear John" single.
"It's not that I'm this egomaniac and don't want to hear anything negative because I do keep myself in check. But I've never developed that thick a skin," says Swift. "So I just kind of live a life, and I let all the gossip live somewhere else."
Taylor Swift's album "RED" is due for release Tuesday, October 22.
