Ke$ha Says Warrior Will Be Magic, Talks Spirit Journey

Pop superstar Ke$ha will unleash her sophomore studio album on December 4th and according to the entertainer, the upcoming LP was inspired by her soul searching solo journey around the world.

“The theme of this record is magic. I went on a spirit journey by myself. No security guard. No managers. I just went around the world and lived on a boat,” Ke$ha told Ryan Seacrest about the upcoming project, which is led by the first single 'Die Young'. “I was in Africa rehabilitating baby lions. I went diving with great white sharks, and just went on this crazy spirit quest. I got hypnotized, and I just really wanted this record to be really positive, really raw, really vulnerable and about the magic of life.”

She continued about the depth of her journey: “I got hypnotized and went into a past life experience. It was incredibly emotional and was one of the most insane things I’ve ever experienced. I wrote a song called “Past Lives” about how I believe you can really recognize somebody through their eyes. I’ve had a few different experiences where I recognize people. I feel like I know them just by looking at them in the eyes for the first time. I wrote a song about that.”

By the sound of things, it seems the upcoming effort will be liberating to Ke$ha fans as well.

We'll just have to wait to hear it!

In related, Ke$ha recently signed a deal with Touchstone for an illustrated memoir entitled, "My Crazy Beautiful Life." Scheduled to drop November 20, two weeks before her album, the book features the 25-year-old's "thoughts and reflections" and pictures spanning from her childhood to her recent tour.
