Following the recent release of his brand new single, Lock Out Of Heaven, Bruno Mars is back with the accompanying music video. In the 70s-inspired vintage themed clip, Mars gets his boogie on during various performance stops, depicting how life was like for musicians back then.
"Locked Out of Heaven" will appear on Mar's forthcoming
sophomore album, Unorthodox Jukebox, due out December 11th. The
catchy tune, blended with several musical styles from the pop, rock and
soul genre, is true to Mars and his creativity.
According to Mars, Unorthodox Jukebox represents a freedom to produce
whatever type of music he wants whether it is soul, pop, rock or
R&B.
"This is me going into the studio and recording and
writing whatever I want," Mars says confidently. "This album represents
my freedom."
Marts will host and perform "Locked Out of Heaven" on "Saturday Night Live (SNL)" this weekend.
