Taylor Swifts RED Album Sales Projections Raised

Taylor Swift is on course to sell more copies of "RED" than previously thought.

According to new projections, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" led album is set to move over 1.1 million copies first week.

"Such a sum would also anoint Swift as the only female to have two albums surpass seven figures in a single sales frame; her last effort, "Speak Now," opened with 1.047 million the week of Nov. 13, 2010. Through four days of availability, "Red" has already reportedly sold around 900,000 copies," reports Billboard.

With a massive promotional push for "RED," including numerous appearances on ABC News, Taylor Swift is likely to continue having strong sales with this album through the Holiday season.

Individual singles are charting well also, including "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Begin Again."

Official numbers are to be released Wednesday.
