Could Britney Spears hold down a several week stint at a Las Vegas venue?
According to recent reports, the "Scream and Shout" singer is very close to inking a deal for a residency in Las Vegas.
While it's unclear what all Spears will be doing, in terms of the length of the shows and content, sources tell TMZ the deal is pretty much done...
"The deal is a go. There are several stipulations that could throw a monkey wrench in the deal, but it's basically done," reports TMZ.
Britney is set to have a major payday off this deal, somewhere north of the $100 million Celine Dion received for her stint in Vegas.
